In a dazzling display of vocal prowess and musical talent, the 7th Edition of It’s Showtime singing search, Tawag ng Tanghalan: Ang Huling Tapatan concluded last January 27, 2024 at ABS-CBN Studio 10. The highly anticipated event showcased the extraordinary performances of the top contenders.

In the first round, contestants paid homage to iconic OPM bands, showcasing their versatility and musical range:

  3. Rea Gen Villareal (Caloocan City) and The Company

Eunice Encarnada, Vensor Domasig, and Rea Gen Villareal stood out in the first round, securing their spots in the final showdown.

The Grand Finals culminated in a breathtaking final showdown with each finalist delivering captivating performances:

Eunice Encarnada from Misamis Occidental took center stage with a powerful rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Her soulful and empowering performance captivated the audience, earning her accolades for her vocal prowess and stage presence.

Northern Samar’s Vensor Domasig delivered an emotionally charged performance with his rendition of Rico J. Puno’s “May Bukas Pa.” The poignant interpretation of the song left a lasting impact, showcasing Domasig’s ability to convey deep emotions through his soul-stirring vocals.

Caloocan City’s Rea Gen Villareal closed the Grand Finals with a show-stopping performance of Eraserheads’ “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” accompanied by the enchanting voices of Koro Jesu Choir. The seamless blend of Villareal’s powerful vocals and the choir’s harmonies created a musical masterpiece that left the audience in awe.

After a fierce competition that spanned several rounds, Rea Gen Villareal from Caloocan City emerged as the Grand Champion for the 7th Season of Tawag ng Tanghalan. With a powerful rendition of “Ang Huling El Bimbo” alongside Koro Jesu Choir, Villareal captivated the audience and judges, securing her victory.

Villareal’s triumph comes with a grand prize of P1,000,000, a coveted music contract from ABS-CBN Music, and an exclusive contract from Star Magic’s Polaris. Additionally, she received a generous gift certificate for beauty products.

Eunice Encarnada from Plaridel, Misamis Occidental, and Vensor Domasig of Northern Samar took the 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up positions, respectively.

As the curtain fell on the Grand Finals, it was revealed that the much-awaited “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids” Season 2 is set to premiere on Monday, promising another round of incredible talent and heartwarming performances.
